Guarantee, Rescheduling, and Refunds
What the Discovery Session includes
Your Discovery Session is $197. It covers two things: the session itself, and the Blueprint Jenny draws for you afterward.
That is the whole purchase. There is nothing else to buy before you see your Blueprint, and nothing further is owed by you if you decide to stop there.
Our guarantee
If the Blueprint we draw is not what you hoped for, tell us within seven days of receiving it and we will refund your $197 in full.
No questions. No hoops. You receive the entire $197 back. We absorb the payment processing fee ourselves, because a full refund should mean full.
The seven days run from the day your Blueprint is delivered to you. To request your refund, write to hello@faisfamilytravel.com.
Refunds are returned to the card or account you paid with. How quickly it appears depends on your bank.
If you need to reschedule or cancel
Life moves. We understand that better than most.
More than 24 hours before your session
You have two choices, and either one is yours to make. You can reschedule, or you can ask for your $197 back. You have seven days from the moment you cancel to tell us which one you want. If we do not hear from you within those seven days, the session fee is used.
Within 24 hours of your session, or if you do not attend
You have seven days from your session time to book a new one. Your $197 carries over to the new session in full. A refund is not available on this path, because the time was reserved and held for you.
You will have received a reminder from us the day before your session. That reminder is your notice.
Choosing a new time
When you rebook, you choose from the times that are open. Your new session may not fall inside those seven days, and it does not need to. What matters is that you book inside them.
We hold a small number of sessions each month, and we do not move another client to make room. Whatever is available is yours.
One reschedule
Each Discovery Session may be rescheduled once, for any reason, on any of the paths above.
If a second session is cancelled or missed, the fee is used. We keep this rule because the calendar is genuinely limited, and a held time that goes unused is a time no one else could take.
How your $197 applies to your trip
If you go on to plan your trip with us, your $197 is credited in full against your planning fee.
Every first-time client is planned under a planning fee, so your credit always has somewhere to go.
Your credit is good for twelve months from the day your Blueprint is delivered. That is long enough to carry a wedding from first conversation to booking, and we would rather give you room than rush you.
What begins when you book with us
Two things in our care travel with your trip rather than with your Blueprint.
Your pre departure intelligence briefing, and our direct line to you while you are away, both exist to protect a trip we are responsible for. They begin when your trip is booked through us.
If you take your Blueprint and book elsewhere, that is your right and we will not think less of you for it. Those two protections simply do not follow.
Exceptions
This policy is how we run. It is not how we hide.
If something happens that this page did not anticipate, write to us and tell us. We read every message ourselves. We would rather make a fair decision about a real situation than point at a rule.
